Job Details:
- Location: Des Plaines, IL
- Time Frame: August 2025 - June 2026
- Full time: 32.5 - 37.5 hours/week
- Caseload: Preschool and Middle school students
- 36 - 48 students between two buildings
Hourly Pay: $30-35+ depending on experience Duties: - Support the language development of students
- Create and implement Individualized Education Programs for students
- Collect and analyze data on student IEP goals
- Collaborate and communicate with various stakeholders, including student IEP teams and parents
- Complete speech and language evaluations and write reports as needed
Requirements:
- Education:an associate degree from a speech-language pathology assistant program that is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association of Colleges or its equivalent as approved by the commissioner; or
- a bachelor's degree in the discipline of communication sciences or disorders with additional transcript credit in the area of instruction in assistant-level service delivery practices and completion of at least 100 hours of supervised field work experience as a speech-language pathology assistant student
Licensure: Must have a valid Illinois SLPA license and PEL Experience: Previous experience in a school setting is preferred.
Skills: Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills are essential.
